Spring Container Garden Gala

The annual Spring Container Garden Gala is held at the McHenry West High School auditorium and features containers planted during demonstrations by local nurseries. Drawings will determine a winner from the audience for each container garden to take one home.

The Gala includes an informative show by the featured garden centers.  And Bake Sale goodies, refreshments, and drawings for beautiful gift baskets are also available as raffle prizes

The commentator at this year’s show was Heather Moister. The participating florists creating the arrangements were Harms Farm & Garden Center in McHenry, Lockers Flowers Greenhouses and Gifts in McHenry, Soil & Spade in Crystal Lake and Stonewood Farms Design Group in McHenry.  Our thanks to Heather and to the designers for the beautiful containers they made.  Also thanks to the McHenry High School students who helped with the show.
