Each month members prepare a dozen or more small arrangements of fresh flowers with an uplifting message and bring these arrangements to McHenry area patients and residents in various senior living locations and county places. The club hopes these flower arrangements bring cheer and beauty to the recipients.

A woman who is a resident at Alden Terrace in McHenry was celebrating her 100th birthday and her family asked if the Garden Club would make some floral arrangements for her birthday. Members Traudl Koeberlein and Debbie Hoffmann made beautiful arrangement for her.
